I am a person who once dropped out of school.
and I feel insecure about my age being able to continue school.
I am very sad because of this.
But, I don’t want to continue with sadness. I feel excited to start a better life by studying at PKBM. What is the PKBM?
PKBM is a non-formal education institution that was formed by and for the community. This institution is oriented towards empowerment
off local potencial to improve language. skills, and community attitudes in the economic, social and cultural fields.

pkbm is a solution for people who cannot
continuing formal education due to economic problems or other conditions
“In PKBM, we also teach work training such as sewing, how to raise catfish and make bait so that we students don’t just have the ability to skadton”
who are good but also ready to open their own business
For me personally, studying at PKBM is an interesting learning process, even though in the eyes of the general public, PKBM schools are seen as one sided, even though there are probably thousands of graduates from PKBM → who can continue their education at university and get good jobs.
So, don’t ever want to learn because with education or knowledge our life will be ☐ easier and more focused.
- Any type of school, whether formal or non-formal, is our bridge to achieving our goals and realizing our dreams As Malcolm X said, education is a passport to the future, because tomorrow belongs to those who prepare it today.
